JAM score is accepted by IIT Delhi, IIT Roorkee and IIT Kanpur
GATE is accepted by IIT Madras.
From the 2026–27 admission cycles onwards, the MSc Economics program of IIT Kanpur will accept candidates through JAM in Economics (EN) with 24 seats and Mathematical Statistics (MS) with 16 seats.
IIT Delhi also takes a separate entrance exam of its own later in June for 5 additional seats.
